Catherine Zambri-RiggsCatie has worked with MMP on many productions as actor and director. She directed the critically-acclaimed production of Hate Mail as well as him & her and the industry reading of “Relationship Deluxe”. As an actor, Catie was seen in him & her and Another Adam. Other directing credits include: Lincoln Center Director Lab 2002, Cherry Lane-AlterNation Festival, Somebody’s Sons; Baby Dance and The Glass Menagerie, among others. On stage, she has appeared in numerous plays in NYC, including: Bash, Three Sisters and the workshop of Tulsa Lovechild, directed by Mercedes Ruehl. Regionally, she’s worked at Syracuse Stage, Virginia Stage and the Staller Center. For TV, she has appeared in “Law and Order” and “Law and Order: Criminal Intent”, “Third Watch” and “As the World Turns”. Her films include “212” (Official Selection 2005 Sundance Film Festival) and “The Marconi Bros”. Her plays Exercise, Brown-Paper-Bag-Picnic-Gunch and How to Bend the Parameters of a Syncopated Clock have been published by PlaySource Publishing NYC. Other plays include Three, You Can Lead a Cow to Water but You Cannot Make Her Milk, Loose Girls and Screwdrivers and Kilts on Fire. She is founding and co-Artistic Director of Camilla’s Theatre and CamillaFilms and a founding member of Manhattan Theatre Source. As a filmmaker, she has produced two feature films, “Red Dog. Scooter. Applesauce.” and “Firefly” as well as numerous shorts and corporate videos; and she has produced over 200 Plaintiff documentaries for legal mediation. She is currently working on her latest feature, “Oliver Creation”, which she co-wrote with her husband, Mitchell Riggs. She is a graduate of the drama department at Syracuse University and has studied with the Moscow Art Theatre.
